Rockets Singe Bobcats

As seen here, Tyrus, and the rest of the team played beneath the Rockets the entire game

Well, if you didn't see this game, consider yourself lucky.  it was one of the most boring games on record for the 'Cats this season.  We were beaten wire to wire again, and the team as a whole just did not show up.  The final was 94 - 78.  Read on Trade Street Hopefuls...there is a silver lining

I wish that the silver lining that I speak of was one of excellent play coming from an area.  Sadly, that isn't even the case.  We were killed on the boards (51-37), 3 point shots made (8 - 2), assists (23-13), and points in the paint (50 - 40 I think it was).  No one showed up tonight.  Our only 2 scorers in double figures on the night were Augustin (22) and Diaw (13).  Yes it was not a pretty game to watch either, because neither team really put a run of any sort together.  It was just a matter of who could string together the most shots in 48 minutes.  Jax was a horrendous 2 - 14 with 6 points and 3 turnovers (More on that in a bit).  Trade Street Post Game Breaker goes to DJ, because he looked like he was there to play...at least he did in the first half.  He knew when to hold them, and knew when to fold them...never mind

     Let's see...I said a silver lining...hmmm...what was it....
I remember it now.  Our playoff hopes are still alive.  The Pacers and the Bucks both lost tonight, so we are still floating a half game behind the Pacers for that 8th spot.  I really feel like if we do get in the playoffs, it won't feel good as it did last year.  We'll be eeking in and no one will expect us to win a game...however, if we do win a game, or per chance, win out of the first round, I'll eat the first serving of crow that is served to me...I hear it tastes like chicken.

Now I made mention of Jax horrible performance tonight, and I said I'd shed more light on it.  This is pure speculation and MY PERSONAL take on tonight's game.  Did anyone see the last game?  Did you see him grimacing in pain at the end?  Did you guys see him walking to the locker room with that left hamstring iced and wrapped?  Did anyone see or hear anything about him aggravating or re-injuring it?  Here's my thing...He hurt it...and he's either playing hurt and won't say anything, or, he's in a funk again.  I believe it is the first.  Jax, you can't play through a hamstring injury.  Don't even attempt it.  Just say you're hurt, and we'll do what we can.  Perhaps he was saving it for a big challenge tomorrow night as we face the Thunder.

What's Next?
Yeah, the Thunder.  That's right...we're facing the new superstar of the NBA (AKA Kevin Durant).  I like Durant because he's a hard worker, and he reminds me of the superstars of old.  Not mega flashy, he just works hard and lets his game speak for itself.  Whit that said, if Jax is secretly hurt, I do not like our chances agains the Thunder.  We need scoring on a team that has always had major scoring "anemia".  What are they saying on the other side?  Check in at www.thunderballers.com to find out.

Trivia
How many times have we been beaten wire to wire (Start to Finish) this season?
4 pointer just because I don't know if that is a stat that can be easily looked up.  Dell Curry told you the answer if you were watching tonight.  We're closing in on 3/28, and there is a close race for those tickets to see Bruce and ...I mean the Washington Wizards battle the Charlotte Bobcats at the Cable Box.

Final Notes...
