Bobcats Neutered in Denver

I had pretty much the same look Boris has here for the entire game...
So...where to begin...
Do I start with the early foul trouble for Jax and Hendo? Do I mention the fact that through 2 quarters, the Nuggets were shooting 62%? Perhaps the notable news is that Jax had 2 points total in the first half...120 - 80 was the train wreck final...
A mile above sea level. That must be it. The guys looked dead the entire game. Perhaps the altitude was just killing them. Perhaps the red hot shooting of the Nuggets was the culprit. I really can't pinpoint any bright spot for the Bobcats. I'd do better pulling a Larry Brown and praising the other team. The Nuggets look so much better without the MeloAnchor on their team. They have better ball movement, better defense, and more even scoring throughout the team. The Bobcats just looked like a bunch of confused guys without any chemistry whatsoever. Poor ball movement, constantly struggling to get the ball past half court, and time after time, getting caught in traps. I'm not entirely certain what is going on. We lost 1 starter and one bench player, and the remaining players don't eve look like they have ever played together. Keys to the loss include Jax not scoring anywhere near his potential. DJ Augustin couldn't make it happen either. Diaw is still on his multi-game swing of not showing up after having 3 strong performances. Matt Carroll was our only bright spot, scoring a season high for himself, and season high minutes. Those 2 feats earns him the TSP game breaker award for the night.
Since the 4th quarter was basically the equivalent of a pre-season game, the new young guys got some burn to prepare them for our next game.
What's Next?
Yeah...the Lakers...
The Lakers with a healthy, 4-time All-Star MVP, Kobe Bryant. Can we pull off another win against the Lakers who are seeking revenge for the beat-down they received in the Cable Box. For myself, an eternal optimist, I'm not so sure...These new look Bobcats haven't shown me a whole lot to be positive about. I believe that the Lakers game will be when Hendo snaps out of his slump, and keeps Kobe I check. Jax was due for an off game, so hopefully his scoring will be up. Also, hopefully DJ Augustin steps out of his slump and scores 20+ points. A win is possible, but conditions have to be right. What do the folks at www.purpleandgoldblog.com and www.with-malice.comhave to say about the upcoming matchup?

TSP Trivia
Here is your TSP trivia question for the night...
It was going to be what has the Bobcats worst loss ever been, but since that was set tonight...scratch that one.
Let's go with a 2 point question. What was the most points scored by a Bobcats player in a single season and who was it? I figure this is a good question as we need to score some more points. Perhaps the question will inspire Jax to go off for the rest of the season...
